Waimea
I completed an 18-month study for the Waimea Community Development Plan Committee, as work toward my master's degree in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning at the University of California, Berkeley.
The final report examined Waimea's growth, community values, and provided tools and a framework for the town's future development.
The study became foundation for the Waimea Town Plan component of the County's South Kohala Community Development Plan, which I acted as consultant for. The ordinance serves to direct land-use, public investment, and development policy.
